Nati's Supper Club

On Thursday 6th April, my husband and I were lucky to bag the last pair of seats to Nati's Supper Club. It was right near my birthday and (as you have probably gathered) I'm a little obsessed with Nati's food... so when I heard there were two seats left I jumped at the chance!

We arrived just before 8pm, with a warm welcome from Nati herself. We were given a lovely soft drink to quench our thirst and started nibbling on some yummy appetisers.

Our BYOB was corked (with no corkage) and my husband settled into his chair with a nice glass of red whilst an amazingly generous mezze was brought out to our table - homemade breads,  baba ganoush, lettuce cups, cauliflower with tahini yogurt dressing, carrot and fennel salad and feta borek... I think that's the list, but there may have been more!!!

We nibbled for a while and tried hard not to fill up... we were saving space for our pre-ordered lamb... and then it arrived - deliciously cooked herb and pistachio crusted lamb with Middle Eastern salad sides.

All of this was then finished nicely by a semolina cake with homemade rose-water ice cream (I know... how very posh... ice cream made from rose water!)

I sipped some fresh mint tea to aid the full stomach and we headed home, after many well deserved compliments to the chef.

The food really was amazing, beautifully cooked and portions super generous. The atmosphere was relaxed and informal.

If you get the chance to bag some tickets definitely do - they are every month and each one is different, travelling around the world through food, without needing to leave north London :)

Take a look here for more dates, the next is a Vietnamese sharing dinner on the 18th May.
