Nurturing Mums week 5

The finale. Baby Development. a sensory class with Hartbeeps.

Arthur and I walked into a room filled with decorations - it felt like I had stumbled into The Night Garden... a grass like floor, colourful cushions, a disco ball light and a sequinned blanket masking some of the later activities.

We all did our hellos and were very lucky to have Lucinda (the Mum to Nurturing Mums) join us with her 3 week old, Tilly.

The class started with some gentle exercises, to welcome the small ones, and a nice excuse for baby cuddles.

we then enjoyed a combination of zoom-zooming the babies to the moon (a slightly softer version of the toddler launching I've learnt to enjoy at the Methodist church) and a sparkly, sunny parachute, with flowers underneath, lifted above the little ones heads.

The class ended with some relaxation for both baby and mum, which sent a few babes off to sleep... and that was just the mums ;)

We sat around afterwards nattering, some mums feeding, until a coffee was suggested... which I jumped at, after having very little sleep the night before, and we headed to Bills :)

An obligatory, but welcomed What's App group has now been started and we plan on doing a mum & babies Pilates class together.

Im so pleased I signed up! I've really enjoyed my alone time with Arthur and meeting local mums, sharing stories, experiences and challenges... And I feel I have left with some valuable information to help with the upcoming stages. Thanks to all the team at Nurturing Mums. You lived up to my expectations and I would recommend this course to anyone with a wee one.
